Campfire French Toast
  • 4 bread slices
  • 2 egg
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla
  • powdered sugar
  • maple syrup
  1. Whisk eggs, vanilla and cinnamon in bowl
  2. coat bread with mixture
  3. Place well oiled cast iron skillet on fire grate.
  4. Place bread in frying pan over campfire or camp stove and fry until golden brown.
  5. Watch carefully, bread can burn easily.
  6. Top with powdered sugar and maple syrup.
  7. Recipe can easily be doubled
