Drinking alcohol depletes electrolytes. Pour a package of Emergen-C in a tall glass of water before you head to bed for the evening or first thing in the morning. Gatorade and coconut water are also great for replenishing lost electrolytes.
Sleep in. Your body will need to rest and recover from the rough night you put it through.
Eat. Certain foods will help with your hangover. Asparagus has key enzymes that aid in breaking down alcohol. Ginger will aid in relieving an upset stomach. Bananas will help replace the potassium you lost as well as help with nausea. Try some protein like eggs with some toast to soak up the alcohol.
Fruit Juice. Drinking vitamin C rich fruit juice like orange, or grapefruit juice will aid in breaking down the alcohol in your system.
Take a hot shower or bath. The steamy water will release some built up toxins.
Exercise. Sweating out the alcohol will feel good and boot those feel good endorphins.
Start drinking again & order a pizza, hot wings, cheeseburgers & some french fries.
